History

The Centre for Quality Assurance (formerly The Internal Quality Assurance Unit) was established by the Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor Kshanika Hirimburegama in 2010. The act was in line with the advent of the subject and institutional review process being launched in Sri Lanka, by the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council of The University Grants Commission.
